Privacy Policy

Villa Nova ("we") operates the Instagram account @villa.nova.house, an entertainment account featuring AI-generated characters. This policy explains what happens when you send us a direct message on Instagram.

What we collect

When you message the account, Meta delivers to us your Instagram-scoped user ID and the text of your message. We store the text of recent messages in the conversation (yours and ours) so replies can stay in context. We do not receive your password, email, phone number, or contacts. We do not collect payment information.

How we use it

Messages are used only to generate a reply in the conversation. Replies are written automatically by an AI system operating in the voice of our characters, and we say so plainly if you ask. Message text is also processed by an AI service provider (Anthropic) solely to produce the reply; it is not used to train their models.

How long we keep it

Conversation history is retained for up to 90 days after the last message, then deleted automatically. Aggregate counts (number of messages per day) are kept for up to 40 days. Messages flagged for safety review may be kept for that review and are deleted afterwards.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your messages with anyone. Our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare for hosting and Anthropic for AI replies) process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

Reply STOP at any time and the account will not message you again. To have your conversation data deleted, see Data deletion. You can also remove our access at any time from Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites.

Age

This account is intended for adults 18 and over. If we become aware that a person messaging us is under 18, we end the conversation and delete their data.
